I grouped this Vase and these Candlesticks together for no real purpose except that they were both picked up at a Flea Market recently and I have NO idea on who made them. Anyone recognize them?
The Candlesticks are a matching pair and look like those lizards that run on water with those wild and frilly clear & ruby skirts. The main color is a deep purple for the socket and base and clear for the stem. They are cased over with dripping clear glass and the stems have spiral twists. They measure 8 1/2" tall with a 3 1/2" base. The under-base is concave and there is a rough pontil on both.
The Deep Amethyst/purple vase in the middle is similar in shape to the Rene Roubicek Vase I posted 5 days ago but this one has a honeycomb body with a fluted rim and a clear rope-like bow. It measures 4 1/2" tall by 3 1/4" in diameter and has a flat base with a recessed rough pontil.
Any comments or help in their identification would be greatly appreciated. RER (BOB)
