    This is a Strobascope Disc. I think it is to test the revolutions of a turntable for different speed records. It is to be viewed as it is revolving for different size records with a Neon or fluorescent light. Can anyone tell me when this Disc wasused . Thanks for the help.

      It's like the speed strobe on a JVC direct-drive turn table, the dotted lines will appear to be turning the wrong direction or stable at the RPM. I don't know how you'd adjust the speed on a rubber band turn table, but the direct drives, you adjust the speed with a pot on the side.

      Belt drives have a turnscrew that changes the angle at which the belt rides. This is from 1960 or before.
