Some members on CW have requested QUEZAL signature and pontil photos for reference. So this example is being shown as a reference/study piece. It is very large at approximately 11" in diameter and 6" in height. Regretfully the rim has been cut down and polished, however, what remains is magnificent. One can only imagine what it may have looked like in it's original form. It is an early and rare example as "D" prefix letters and this decoration and color combination are seldom seen.
Engraved on a concave polished pontil: QUEZAL D 791
