Here is an old hanging chandelier or ceiling lamp that was consigned to me by a friend close to a year ago. He gave me two lamps, the other was a very nice one also with swirly slag glass panels and very ornate features. As I was photographing this one I decided I really liked it and was going to restore it and keep it for myself.
I found websites that sells restoration parts for old lamps and chandeliers that has almost exact replacements paper candle tubes, as I don't like looking at cigarette stained shades of yellow. I'm in the process of restoring an old stick frame and stone farmhouse that most of the ceiling lamps were sold off at the estate auction of previous owner before I bought it, so many empty sockets when I moved in. A few of the lamps that were left still had old hand blown Edison bulbs in them.
Love it!!!!
