This piece of artwork on heavy paper measures about 8 1/2" X 11 1/2" and reminds me a bit of Belle Époque art. It isn't a regular lithoprint as it has slight texture to the surface and when you look at it at an angle you can see grooves and indented lines almost like it was lightly carved on the paper. The black jacket on the man has black ink (or paint) that is heavier in some areas of the jacket than others - where it actually appears shiny. The photos really don't give you a sense of the detail in this art.
I think it is a really cool piece and I would love to find out more information on the style, time period and even the artist. Any info is always appreciated. Thank you so much.
