This is an approx Swiss made 1936 Jaeger ( i.e not Jaeger le Coutre) military chronograph which I believe was made by Edmund Jaeger for the British army. It belonged to my father who was a major in the Royal tank Regiment. It keeps perfect time after 77 years

      Hi Dave
Many thanks. This watch carries the Jaeger logo with similar underlining as with Jaeger le Coutre watches. This watch is very similar to the Le Coutre Caliber 285-
      does that help? Brian

      Brian,
I do not know anything about these watches. I was just looking through my books and trying to match up the case and dial. The one I noted is the closest I could find, with the difference being, the one in the book has a roman numeral XII & VI.
      Dave
