I picked up this Boyce Moto-Meter at the same auction I won the Fram 2 sided sign. I don't think anyone knew what it was, or just wasn't interested in collecting because $1 was what I paid. There were many scrappers at the sale more interested in buying the many many partially disassembled vehicles scattered throughout the 20 acres. I think the thermometer is shot because it looks all dried up inside the tube.
I still have not found a mascot but continue dig estates before anyone else while prepping for the estate auctions.

Know that feeling, don't have the Philly accent, but 6-5 250 and a little fluffy around the edges, personal apprearence is that of a grumpy old guy, long hair, unshaven and usually pretty vocal. LOL Nice score , even if you did scare off the comp. :-)
Me too on the fluffy edges, but down from 330lbs max, I quit bones and all carbs last year on my birthday and so far so good. I need to get back in the game, I need to meet a good women to help me decorate, listen to music together, and grow old together. I been alone since my wife split 10 years ago. Just me and my junk.
