Hello mickeyamagic, super display pieces, just one little quirk, the smaller cased watch with Mickey's feet behind the number doesn't belong with this boxing display. It is a 1958 and later piece. would have come with the statue boxing. but the box is the goodie, the right watch can be found easy and placed together.
Kerry
thanks Kerry didn't know that again . had this watch for 20 years. bought it from a dealer who I thought was an honest one before internet but this is not the 1st time I have found out he was not as knowing as eh let on to be . anyway I will find the right one to complete it
You're welcome. There are two variants of the early one, you want the one without the words Ingersoll on the dial to be correct for 1955.
Hi Mickey, just read your email... First photo, R/H side watch is the one in question, note Mickey's l/h foot is under the #5 dial marker....the case is different style design and the strap is glued to backing leather instead of stitching. If you have the packaging with the Ceramic or plastic figurine, this is watch that goes with that. I have already dug you a correct one for the 55 packaging and will add to your package, sort of glad I didn't go to town and mail off today...almost had to send second box, lol
