Here's an all original first year model 1971 Suzuki MT50 Trail-Hopper that I picked up this past spring. I always wanted one of these little trail bikes ever since they first came out back in '71. This one had just a little over 1300 miles on it. I also posted a scan of an old Suzuki ad for this fun little machine.
I found one of these at a barn sale . in mint condition for 35.00 I bought it .. it was a little dirty and didn't run but a great display piece .. beautiful bike :)
Yours sounds like a nice find! These can be hard to find in good shape and without a lot missing parts.

Super cool, had a Honda 50 when I was 10, 72' or 73'. Honda green, loved it, miss it. Your new scooter is the first picture I have seen in a very long time, of a similar model. Had now idea Suzuki made this model, thanks for the view!
