I got this bottle from my grandfather 40+ years ago. He kept black powder in it for blasting large rocks and tree stumps. Does anyone have info on this bottle as I have not seen another one like it.

What type of metal top did it have? Is there a site I could check out that would have a picture?

Whoa! Snake goes deep right off the bat. Book value with cap in near mint condition is $750.

Thank all of you for you help. I don't plan on selling it for a couple of reasons, first it belonged to my grandfather and 2nd I think it's a darn cool bottle. Thanks again for all your input and information.
