This small leather purse was just recently found in a box of my grandmother's belongings. Unfortunately she is no longer with us, or I'm sure she'd have a wonderful story behind it. The inside seems to be made of silk, and the brass clasp has a rusted mark that looks like it says "patented for". Does anyone have any idea of the age or how I should clean and store it?

I maybe wrong but I am thinking maybe not so old? 1920's? Very cool piece!
Thinking Victorian. Not sure what you can/should do to clean it up.
