    This bench has been in my father's family for at least 75 years. Growing up, I sat on it while waiting for my dates to pick me up; it made me feel important. I always loved the gargoyle feature.

    We do not know the origin or the age and are curious about the style and period. Has anyone seen this before?

      Wonderful bench, love the curved seat! Never seen a chair or bench with gargoyles on the ends of the tenons.
