This is a bottle that at one time contained sherry. The cork is the neck of the figure, therefore, the head is the cap. I discovered it was a product of Marie Brizard et Roger International Distillers in Bordeaux, France, from looking at the bottom. I know that sherry was the liqueur that was contained in the bottle because of the testimony of one of the former owner's descendants. I have searched the internet and haven't come across anything like it, so I have no idea when it was manufactured. Does anyone have any more information on this item for me?

Hi we had one. My dad brought as part of a miniature collection over 30 years ago. The head got broken and was sent off to a porcelain repair specialist but was never picked up I still have the body packed away somewhere. If you have found out any more info about her please let me know
      Kind Regards
      Tracey
