This is a photograph from my family's personal collection. It features my great-grandfather and great-grandmother sitting in this amazing early car in the very middle surrounded by everyone else. Included is a soldier whom I assume to have been in World War I sitting on the hood of the car. I am unsure of the exact date but I would say it is from 1920 or so.
If any of you can help me identify the car type or anything about the solider that would be amazing. Thanks, and enjoy taking a look!
Thanks for the love guys!
Great picture, it would be easier to identify the car if there wasn't so darn many people sitting on it!! :-)
Ha, that's the truth!
I think that your on target with the era of the image-- probably 1918- 1920.
The soldier is a Sergeant (Sleeve insignia is visible). He also has some sort of medal or badge on his chest-- not detailed enough to discern, but it could be a state/ local WW1 medal.

Hi downhome. I love old photos and the stories that go with them. This is a great photo. I'm surprised no ones come up with what type of car it is yet!
