I have this lovely 10 KT gold lapel pin that has stumped me..The crest has a cross at the very top of a gold studded crown, sitting on a shield. Inside the shield which is divided into 4 sections. top left is a star top right is bare, bottom left is bare and bottom right has a sword. Right in the middle is another cross with maybe wings in the centre of that? Under the shield is a banner wrapped around the bottom fancily and bears the Letters:
ELYUM OL EYLAOV or Y? Inscribed deeply on the shank of the pin is: IKA R CO..with some other unidentifiable marks? At the bottom of the pin is a nice spiral groove around to pin to hold it in place in cloth. Very well made pin measuring 2.5 inches in length. If ONLY it could talk to me!!! Mr Google couldn't help me either which is very strange, cause he knows everything I thought!
I would appreciate all of you experts out there if you know anything you could share with me. I got this along with a bunch of other pins in a sale. Thanks so much..blingiton1948

Mr. Google/Bing has let me down too. I bought a new hand crank for my PC & that helped a lot.
The "Co" on the shank tells me it's not "Limey" unless made on order for export. Interesting item & I await answers, just like you.
Allo, allo, walks, are you out there? Honky to walks, come in walks!

If you would look at it again or provide a better photo I believe the letters are from the Greek alphabet, as in a college fratunity. http://images.wikia.com/uncyclopedia/images/7/78/Greek_alphabet.gif
