oak rocker rocking chair

I found this at a garage sale and at first I thought it was a child's vintage oak rocking chair, but the seat is regular size. The rocking chair seems to be a very low, short chair. There are no slats to this rocker. Can anyone tell me anything at all about this chair? Age? It is in exceptionally good shape, no cracks, splits, or repairs. It seems to have original finish.
