LOUMANAL
(436 items)
I searched high & low in my N. American Ref. books on Pressed Glass items until I realized that the mark on the underbase stated "FOREIGN". I was under the impression that the Foreign designation was on pottery & porcelain and that it alluded to Czechoslovakian wares but I found that this pressed glass vase was made by a German firm in 1969. The Lausitzer Glass company had a turbulent past over the years. This was their #07876 product in Amethyst that they called OLYMPIA. I have provided a link that shows this vase in orange and green. It stands 10" tall with a 4 1/2" opening and has a solid "rocket" looking base. RER (BOB)
