LOUMANAL
(436 items)
I'm trying to find out if this old Oil Can I picked up at my Saturday garage sale blitz is a rare item or not. It is unusual in that it has a spring-loaded tab/plunger apparatus in the can that allows the oil to flow when it is depressed. The spout is held by a hook near the rim. It has a two quart liquid capacity and the name HUENEFELD and CINCINNATI-USA are inscribed on the elevated skirt/base. I have not cleaned it so my photos show it as found....should I clean it?. The only info. on this company is that it was renowned for their stoves. Any info. appreciated. Here is a link to the Company that I found. Thanks, RER(BOB) PS: I am not into oil cans!

I think you have an oil can to pour oil into a journal box on train wheels. We had one for that purpose. Hope this helps a little. (:-D)
Thank you musikchoo! I appreciate your input...I hadn't thought about that! I will try to find more information in that line. Thank you Moonstonelover21 for the Love! RER (BOB)
