Living out in the country I think this is something every country boy should have! This is a vintage toy pedal tractor, not really sure if the tractors are more or less common than the pedal cars but either way pedal cars in general are hard to find in Canada with original paint. I was told these toys were usually left outside and Canadian winters were very hard on them. I know mines not in the best condition but its almost complete and all original so I'm very happy to own it.

I was really hoping I could get more info on it. I know very little about this tractor so any info or links to websites would be much appreciated. Trying to find out exactly when this model was made? I was thinking 1950's or 1960's? I know the seat is not original but everything else checks out. I was wondering if anyone knows were I can get an original seat for this model? I was thinking the tires had hubcaps at one time, but after some research it seems this model didn't have hubcaps? The front tire bearing is badly damage so I was considering replacing the tire, but would want a original tire to this model was wondering if anyone knows where to get one? The last part I was considering replacing is the plastic motor. Its also badly damaged more on the opp side (not seen in pictures), but still displays alright as is. Was wondering how often just these plastic motors pop up, how much they cost, and were to find them?

The trailer I bought with the pedal tractor, but I think it was originally bought sep. was wondering which item is older? The trailer or the tractor? The trailer is unique trailer you dont see very often, its got the dump cart and a seat for towing a friend! Usually you just see the reg wagon style trailer I was very excited to buy this trailer with my tractor. Again I know very little about this and if you know any info on it or links for websites please let me know.

The trailer is older than the tractor. The trailer is 50's to early 60's. The tractor is late 60's - 70's. The hollow plastic rear wheels tell you that.

There is parts available but you can quickly get more into one than the tractor is worth, the engine is $95.00. Here is a guy that has parts, I have not bought anything here in several years but should still be okay.

Parts show up on ebay so if you are not in a hurry do a search and "save it" to receive emails when parts get listed.

Get a seat and the set would look good as is.

Thanks alot AzTom info greatly appreciated! I have a few more questions if you dont mind answering: Do you know if this model only had a plastic seat? or was there some seen with metal seats originally? I'm not a plastic fan so would prefer a metal seat, but trying to keep tractor as original as possible. I was also wondering if this model had different tires originally? I have seen a few with these plastic style tires, just curious if this model also had rubber tires? And I was wondering if you or anyone knows, what this tractor and trailer is worth in mint condition? I know mines not mines not in mint condition, just curious of whats the full retail on one of these? Or if possible any idea what mine is worth as is?
