I inherited this clock a while back and just think it's awesome. However, I don't really know anything about it. I have been too chicken to see if it works as I have no instructions and don't want to break it. Anybody know anything about this clock?
It says to the loyalty and bravery of the swiss:)
What a beautiful clock. You might want to post it on the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors' message board at: http://mb.nawcc.org/
They have an international membership. Good luck and thanks for sharing this.
And the lion is a replica of a cliff carving done in Lucerne Switzerland.
You are a very lucky person. I have the exact same clock. You can email me at rich_a_wms@yahoo.com, if you want to discuss it.
Hi, My grandmother owned a clock just like yours. My aunt took it to California to sell from Michigan.....we have always wondered what happened to it. Can you please give me some information regarding where your relative lived that gave it to you.....if it happens to be the same one, I can give you some history on it.
Great tall case clock, beautiful.

Wow - amayzing piece in every detail. My Great Gandparents brought back similar pieces from Switzerland in 1920's (ish).
I inherited a similar clock. On the inside it is signed H. Spring Interlaken II Came over from Switzerland in the 30's. It is 99 inches high with the statue. I have been trying to find out something about it. All I have is a bill of sale.
