The vase is 10 inches tall. It was giving to me by a friend when his mother passed away around 2000. She had it for many many years. It was giving to her by a friend of hers. There is an index card in it with two hand writings on it. One of the handwritings dated it 75 years old. I believe it is around the early 1900 but am not sure. Would love more information and maybe a estimate if possible.

It looks like Amphora or Moorecroft, but could you try another shot of the base?

Does that shot help? Thanks for all the help. And thanks for the welcome. I love this vase. Really hoping to find out more about it.

I could be way off but it really does look like an Amphora vase. Can you see any of the remaining black mark?
