    Does anyone happen to know anything about these lamps? The gold appears to be real, and applied by hand.

      Also, the lower base appears to be a separate piece. Possibly added? I looked under those, and did not find any markings or information.

      Likely Occupied Japan by Chicusa or similar. The top of the shade harp, under the finial, should be marked "Berger Swivel Harp, Pat 2270497". The shade harp was Patented on December 12, 1940 but was manufactured for several years afterward.
