Mid Century White Ceramic Water Pitcher with Teak Handle and Stopper / By Taylor Smith and Taylor / Circa 1950-60

My run to Volunteers of America this morning netted me this neat 10" mid century water pitcher. Designed by Taylor Smith and Taylor it has a teak handle and stopper with a stylish brass finial. The interior of the lip has a bit of pastel pink which adds just a touch of color. There is no damage. The handle is a bit loose and someone tried to glue it. The glue ran down the side leaving a yellow drip. Took a bit of work but it all cleaned off just fine. I'll have to use a couple of small rubber washers on the handle to tighten it up and cushion the mounts so they don't crack. - Mike-
