This kind of wooden brisé fans was a souvenir of dancing lessons. The dance partners signed the subjects as a poetry album. The flowering of these fans was between 1900 and 1920.
I know these subjects only from southern Germany and Austria. Do you know other examples or manufacturer of these subjects?
