A Ring of Rubies by Mrs. L.T. Meade, 1892

I found this little book some time ago and just finished reading it. It's not what I usually read, but the title intrigued me. The story gives some insight into the lives and habits of the rich and the poor in late Victorian England. I would have loved to see the house of "Cousin Geoffrey" and all the treasures he collected!
