    Museum
    (1 item)

This steam kettle was recently donated to the Museum, we have no provinance as to date of manufacture or manufacturer, the only marking left on it appears on the 3 rubber feet that have the word 'ADVANX' embosed into them.
The doner informed us that this item was used in a hospital.

So you join us with a mind twister? Thanks & welcome to the dysfunctional family of CW. It has that Englishy look.

Well, the Advanx rubber & tire was founded in NSW in '21 but that doesn't help with what the pads are attached to. Walks, where are you? Walks know everything or where to look.

It's a vaporizer, to humidify a sick room especially for respiratory illness.

1930's-50's, sorry for the range, but I cannot locate a definitive date. Some of the very early one's had a crude look to them, and the 1950's saw a level of refinement. This piece seems to fall in between those design philosophies. IMHO.

      You are very welcome,

      T A
