This lamp was handed down from my Grandmother to me. It's clear very heavy glass, except for the globe that has stinceled men and women on it dancing. Also, it has the letter W engraved on the wick holder. I would like to know how old it is and possibly who was the maker of it?

Hi billandwanda! These lamps were made by, I think, Anchor Hocking in the 1920-40's and were sold through hardware/corner stores. They were not the expensive type. If you remove the burner, you will see a ring collar in the glass that indicates it was made after 1911. Still a nice combination with the enameled dancers on the chimney and useful too!
