Both of these figurines are made of a chalk material (I don't think its plaster of paris). They are heavy. They have been in the family for years and years. They are painted. I would like to know how old they are and possibly who made them?

I would say they are most likely from the 30's. As to who made them I could not say. The horse is most likely from a carnival, given as a prize from a game. The kissing couple reminds me of a miller co piece I have seen. Is there any markings around the rims of either pieces? Happy hunting!
