le.attique, awaiting with baited breath~
Very beautiful American Girl Barbie she dates 1965-66 and along with her came a more glamorous line of clothes . Is her hair reddish or it Ash . Titian is a red color .The color "titian" takes its name from Titian, who often painted women with red hair.A Early Renaissance artist . She became a very collectible Barbie at one time she sold very high . Love her !***
yes this American Girl is a beauty. I am thinking it was Titian, but you might be right. It actually looks more like Ash, a light brownish with blonde shine color. I will have to see if I can find more images of her.
le.attique, No matter she is stunning and face paint is perfect ! I know camera's in different light change real color so was just asking :-) Has she learned french yet since coming to live with you :-)
Heh well no, she went AWAY to live in France. And NEVER comes back to visit.
But reviewing other images I do believe you are correct as to the Ash as opposed to Titian. Is it possible to post more images associated with this thread?
I assume its ok to post images of objects that I USED to have, correct? they are now my collection of IMAGES in other words.
You can go to edit on her page and add more photo's . And yes you can post her . We all have posted items we had and had to part with at some time :-)
darn single hairs in the way, but oh well.
Yes she is Ash and so good to have kept photo's of her . I had a large Barbie collection I will post when I dig it out ,but photo is not good quality . I gave them all to my daughter she is a avid collector and hung out with the lady that published Barbie Bazaar Magazine they have a doll club. I have told my story about the day they first displayed a Barbie #1 in our dime store when I was a little girl . Me and my friend btw that is in that photo with our hair , went to look at dolls for Christmas to pick one out . Barbie scared us and her eyes , we had never seen anything like her there was a huge display of her and on lower shelf were boxes of all her beautiful clothes . We loved the clothes . We did not pick Barbie for x-mas we choose a Little Miss Revlon . Now I wish I had bought whole shelf of Barbie's . They were tried out in CA to test market where I lived . One friend did pick her :-) Oh I got off track here sorry :-)))))))
