My Father left me this watch in 1969. I have taken it to many Upscale jewelers over the years just trying to find out any information about it. All any of them have been able to tell me is the obvious. It's a Mans 14K solid yellow gold watch, 17 jewel movement with a bark style finish. I'd love to know what years it was made any info would be greatly appreciated. I have searched around the Internet with no luck. It's not for sale, although every jeweler I've taken it to has offered to buy it, up to " the extremely generous offer of $500"
Welcome to CW!!! You have got yourself a rare one! I believe its from around 1940's. I sell on Ruby Lane and not sure if I still have more selling at this point. But yours is a beauty! The jewelers are raping you! I work with one that is ethical..and that is a rare thing! The pricing is subject to the buyer but they run in the thousands. If yours is in pristine condition...then even better. I hope this helps. You are very blessed

Thank You very much for your help. I really appreciate it. You have given me more info to work with. Now you've got me curious abouts its value for insurance coverage. The best I've been given so far is just for the 2 oz of gold it contains. Ill keep looking.
