Magnificent Micro Mosaic brooch, solid 14 carat gold (tests) pin/brooch depicting a floral branch of roses surmounted by a bird (dove). The Micro Mosaic has museums quality and has sand sized tesserae which are smooth to the touch. It is crafted in beautiful soft tones and has finest detail. You can clearly see the difference in surrounding foliage between the time this was made & today. It dates from around 1860. It measures 1.4 x 1.1 inches (3.5 x 2.7 cm). I'll hope you enjoy it too!
