This is a Windsor chair I found at a garage sale. I do not know the maker as there is no markings. It has nice wear on the seat, but the arm rests are very plain. The rungs on the bottom have been wired. Since I found it this way I have not changed anything.

I have a similar one except not a round back. When were these produced?

The pictures are dark and difficult to see. Would I be correct to say the seat of the chair is multiple pieces of wood glued together as opposed to being one piece of wood? Also if it is one piece can you tell the thickness of the seat measured at the thickest part on one side please?
