It's our 6th wedding anniversary today and would like to show the brooch I wore on that day. It was a gift from my mother who said my grandmother owned it. I am unsure of the metal and the stones appear to be opal in color. One of the attached metal beads is loose and was hoping someone could tell me how to repair it.

Sarah, very lovely gift....in the world of jewelry. When it does not have prongs to secure the stone....we use crazy glue. Using a needle for application :)))

To reattach a metal bead you may have to do some soldering, or try E6000 glue first, if that area does dot get handled a lot.
