1 Oldish type hand drill. no makers name or marks on it. First one I've seen that can have the handle removed and turned into a pistol type drill. 2 A 2ft four fold rule has "Trade Mark" & "Hockney Abbey", with some sort of brand alps or mountains etc. on the inside where the metric measures are the wood is beveled out. why I don't know "fashion statement perhaps". I couldn't actually find this design on google. I had no luck finding the drill either.
are you in tas I am.
yep a real live tazzie debil here
The picture of the folding ruler is a bit blurry but it is a folding story pole ruler. They aren't used much anymore except perhaps by an old school mason. I just googled it to be sure and came up with the same item. I haven't seen one in 30 or 40 years. Value is about $18.
thanks for the info sorry about pics being blurred I'll see if I can take some better ones. ps thanks for the loves.
The beveled edge on the ruler allows for accurate lineup of your pencil with the graduation marks on the ruler.
Very nice, I like the old four folds!
