This was a thrift store find from a few years back. Two beautifully hand painted modernist Japanese nesting plates. The larger one has a Made in Japan foil sticker and both have an imprinted mark under the glaze. The clay is ceramic I think but is smooth like porcelain were one area is chipped. Any help would be most welcome.
