What I have here is a little sculpture made for Disneyland & Walt Disney World back in 1980 before the film was even released. It portrays one of my favorite parts of the film, with puppy Copper proving that he is a hound dog by letting loose with his little puppy howl.
I have a huge soft spot for the 1981 animated Disney classic film The Fox and the Hound. I was born in 1980, and this film is the one that I not only remember watching for the first time but also the first one I ever loved and now that I'm a huge fan of film that means that much more to me. To this day it still holds up for me. It's just a great little flick.
I have also posted the very rare first edition novel by Daniel P. Mannix that this film is loosely, very loosely, based on that I was lucky enough to randomly find at a local auction buried in a box of other random books.
Thanks for the love!
