The mosaic that is used in this cross I would call mosaic because the tiles (tesserae) are too big to call them micro in my opinion. Although all the mosaic by most people is always called Micro Mosaic. However, this is only the case for the very old (1800-1880) mosaics with very tiny tiles at least that's my opinion. I would like to know your view on this is?
Although there are many (Micro) Mosaic crosses in circulation and this one certainly is not the best it is still a well preserved example of craftsmanship. It is quite large the entire cross (without hook) is 8 cm (3.1 "). It is made of silver colored metal and there are no marks. But I don't know for sure it isn't silver. It was made in the early 20s I suppose.

Dr. Fluffy, what strikes me is that so many jewelry collectors also cat lovers. I have almost all my life cats. We always had two but my favorite cat we had to put to sleep last year. She had cancer. Now we still have a very dark brown / black male and his name is Tommy and he is 14 years old.
