Letter Binder

To start with good morning everyone. This leather binder is made of Anilin (Aniline) hide the first spelling is what is on my binder. It's length is 10 1/2 inches, it's width is 10 inches from the front to the back of binder when laying flat on the table. This is what I have so far learned of this Company. It developed this type of hide in 1911 & produced it as Aniline Chromexcel which is still one of the Company's most traditional tannages. The Company was founded in 1905 by Isadore Horween in Chicago, Illinois. It uses cowhide & smaller types calf & bison hides. I have contacted the Company to see if it could help me of when & who made this binder. I would put in as vintage maybe 50's or 60's as it has a metal & cloth zipper. It's not in to bad of condition & I still use it today. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Yesterday finely stopped raining enough to take a couple of photos of things I could get to easy.
