Two pieces of pottery. Robert Maxwell and WMF. R Maxwell is growing in popularity and I will connect a link in the comments. Pretty interesting stuff. The vase is a beast, probably 20 inches plus tall.
I am mostly familiar with WMF metal, a tiny bit of glass, but not much pottery. Looking pretty good. Fits in with all the West German pieces I am tracking.

The mark for the WMF vase is very simmilar to the Ikora mark and I think it comes bak form the 20s and 30s. I've learnt that the tower is the symbol of Geislingen, so that's wherethe little vase was made in.

Very interesting Austro! I am trying to get myself educated on the German potters. I find it odd that WMF was cranking out these little pots throughout the Second World War.

I guess the frame of time is that of the period when they used that mark... but I think yes, the factories would probably going on with production (although I guess ast a much smaller scale, as many of its workers would be fighting and the demand would certainly be smaller). I know Löetz kept on producing glass goods during WWI. As for WMF I think that during both WWI and WWII they switched to military goods production, so I guess the vase was made some time between 1936 and the begining of the war.
