a friend of mine who lives in Calabasas California came to visit me and brought me a few Asian items , she isn't a collector of these types of items she knew I love collecting pieces like this so she bought them for me as a gift. She told me she found these at an antique store a long the way ,, If anyone knows what the markings is please comment .. this is about 11 inches tall 5 -2/3 wide .

Chinese reign marks. Six character marks. Read down from right.
"Imperial reign marks are like all Chinese texts read from top to bottom and from right to left.
The first character is thus the one at top right .
The marks are also written in one, two or three columns or rows.
Your marks are read in this order:
      4, 1
      5, 2
      6, 3

The mark is Wanli 1573-1620. But ........ Fakes abound. Only an expert will be able to tell you if it is real or not, no matter how much was paid for it.

bad photos, but it's very unlikely to be genuine in my mind.

Sorry songwriter, may i hijack your post briefly, to try to contact shrine, he has no posts but claims to be an Asian collector, i thought maybe he could have a look at these 2 mysteries..

I don't know if he'll see it, or know anything, but they've been a mystery for over 1/4 century! Be nice to solve it.
