Can someone help me with the age of this and where it was made, I have had it for over 20 yrs it was given to me by someone who was close to 90 who told me it had belonged to her mother.
The cane seat had give way and I painted it white to go with an antique table I had, it is very light and right behind the front spindle is a metal bar.
it has a beautiful leaf inlay on top and a flower inlay above the seat.
It is a very comfortable chair to sit in and although it does have cosmetic issues it is in good shape I just really would like to know some more history of it.
