You have a real jewel here. Slot cars are usually a very hot item on ebay.

I`m so glad I found this site as I`ve been out of the loop with Hot Wheels and slot cars since moving to the Sharon,Pa. area from Denver,Co.. I have a question. I found a vintage slot car set at a local thrif store and the cars lights work. How much is it worth ? Thankyou, Jim

This looks to be a complete American Flyer, A.C. Gilbert, track from 1960 (the only year produced). You should clean it up and carefully play with it or pack it up to save for a better economy. Value today is about $40 but in the future .. who knows. I have one just like it that I put together about once a year and play with. This is very easy to repair and it will last forever with just a little care. Peace
