    This Cased light Amethyst to Clear VASE has opalescent (almost hand -cream like) white bands in the inner layer. The shape is very classic and there is a lot of wear on the under-base. It is unsigned, measures 8" by 6" and has a small recessed pontil in the concave base. The rim is almost 3/8" wide and flat with a sharp edge. We have had this vase for many years and I have no idea on its origin or maker. Any Ideas?? Thanks, RER(BOB)
