trying to identify this Old Sea Chest, age, maker etc, cant read or make sense of what it says on the brass plaque, no paintings or marking anywhere else at all. small dovetail joints, slanted sides, should have had a plinth around bottom possibly, look like original rope handles, i know nothing and have researched extensively but am stuck!! can anyone help? would love to know what the engraved brass names are or mean, also looks like a number, am i wrong?
