This amazing 36 cm tall candleholder is one of the most iconic designs by Richard Riemerschmid. It was manufactured by the Vereinigte Werstätten für Kunst im Handwerk, Munich, in 1897.
It is also one of the first metalwares designed by Riemerschmid and one of the first items produced by the factory and it was made in a choice of bronze or brass.
Carlos’s great-grandfather was a painter and he travelled all around Europe and got this candleholder during one of his trips. So it has belonged to the family for over a century! Isn't that amazing?
