This is the original jewelry box that came with the wedding bands of my paternal grandparents. I m not sure when exactly they got married but I guess it was in 1933 or around that period (my granddad would have been 24 years old on that moment and my grandmother 21 years old). I will have to ask my dad for the exact date.
Anyway, I saved this box years ago when their house was cleaned. The original wedding bands are still in the family. They are simple 18k gold bands.
The text says: All the luck to the newlyweds.
The jeweler was situated in Antwerp, the diamond centre of the world. Unfortunatly the jeweler doesn't exist anymore today.
I hope you like it.
Priceless and what a great family heirloom . Love it
Wat een dierbare herinnering, store it well to hand it over to your daughters!
Agram, Maninkin, vintagejewel and Moonstonelover, thanks for appreciating my story
