This lovely jewelry box was another find for my daughter. It was made by Mele and Co. From Utica NY but also has a Japanese Mark so I'm wondering if they parceled out some of their work. It has mother of pearl inlay with a vibrant handpainted and lacquer finish, and still has its original key, Possibly made around the 1950s.

I really love the bright orange any little girl would love it, not so sure about the blue very very pretty.
My daughters favorite color has been orange since she was little. I had to take advantage of the Halloween season to find it for her sometimes:)
Ity's great to give our kids what they like at times more should.
