I ran into this bottle at an antique store the other day. I thought I had saw it in a bottle book but when I looked I didn't see it. It is green or teal in color and is shaped a lot like a golf driver except the only way to set it is upside down like in pic 2. It is blown and there is a big bubble in the round part of the 2nd pic. I would really appreciate it if anyone knows anything about this bottle and what it might be worth. Thank you. Loveirish
I have a very similar bottle - same shape and colour but but with an external thread at the opening. The glass contains many imperfections and has a moulding line around the widest part. It is shaped to feel comfrtable in the hand with the thumb fitting neatly into the concave side. Could they be early baby's feeding/nursing bottles? I have come across the term 'turtle' bottle.
