I got myself ANOTHER!! vertical sign!!!! I got my debt payed off from previous sign and added a new addition to my collection at the same time. I already owned this sign, but as you can see my new addition is in much much better condition.
I found out the seller collects coins so this sign was a trade with scrap silver coins. It kind of cost me more than my other vertical sign, due to how low silver is right now, but cost me 300$ worth of current silver price. Silver is only around 20$ US/oz so it took approx 13 oz of silver to equal 300$. I figure it was worth the trade because silver has been down for several months now and Coca-Cola items dont seem to lose their value as bad as silver.
One thing I did find odd about this sign is the manufacture name, CCC. I dont think I have seen that name before was wondering if any of you guys have? My other vertical sign is made by STMS, which I know very well, just not fimilar with CCC. Another odd thing I noticed about the two signs, which is only noticed when their sitting side by side, is the water drops on the bottles are different. The signs are not from the same year (the rough one 1948, the new one 1951) and as you know different manufactures, just thought the images would still be identical. Anyways let me know what you guys think of my new addition, I personally think its a HUGE upgrade from the other sign, do you?
Very well done Trev!! She's a beauty!

Thanks for the loves fifties50s & Trey.
Cool sign Trevor. I have a die cut version of just the bottle, very similar look. I've always thought it was interesting that these signs show the bottle without the cap. All my U.S. version signs show the bottle with cap. Nice upgrade.
Thanks fifties50's and Dave! I have another vertical with bottle missing cap the Canadian signs seemed to do that every now and than.
Nice buy Trev!
