This is a neat old piece I found in an antiques store in Albany NY. The enameled front has the Alpha Delta Phi logo and the year the fraternity was founded, 1832. The back is hand engraved GHFDX with Amherst 06 below that, and has a raised obelisk with a crossed sword and spear, which I believe to be the makers mark. It was sold to me as 14k, but I have not had it tested. This before gold went crazy. Does CW have a category for fraternal items? It doesn't come up in the list. Thanks for looking!

So is it from 1832 or commemorative? Nice one!

Thanks, Dr Fluffy, I thought it was cool too. Amber, I guess the date is part of the logo, all the ones I saw on line were the same. I'm think it's from 1906, by whats on the back. Thanks to you both for the loves!

I haven't forgot you, just haven't ran across it yet, but will send it your way, as soon as I find it, in the horde :-)
